It’s as easy as Hay, B, C

Actually it’s straw, not hay. *

Never confuse them.
We took a field trip to see Frank Fry who grows wheat on his farm.

We bought 266 bales of straw from him and loaded them onto the trailer for the 2 hour trip back to Moab.

It was really great to meet Frank and his brother and to see the origins of our bales.
This was the second time this year they had sold bales for a straw bale house.
Very soon these bales will be walls and insulation in our house!

How exciting!

* Hay is the seeds, straw is the leftover stalks.
