Bake Sale?

White House - Champion of Change

YES! Community Rebuilds is hosting its first ever bake sale! And with every bake sale, there is a cause. Community Rebuilds’ Founder and Executive Director, Emily Niehaus, has been invited to Washington DC to be honored as a Champion of Change. See the White House website for details (click on the link):

How much are we trying to raise, you ask? $500 to help offset the cost of Emily’s travel expenses. What are the details?

WHAT: Bake Sale

WHERE: Jobsite – 496 Bowen Circle, Moab, UT 84532

WHEN: Friday, March 2nd

TIME: 1-5pm

Come check out the build (we will be working on the adobe floor with radiant heat). Buy an overpriced cookie made by CR community supporters, current students, and CR grads. Emily will be honored for her efforts in creating Community Rebuilds. And, she will get to share our success story with the White House! How fabulous to be recognized as a mechanism for change by the folks in DC who helped us achieve this success. A BIG thank you to Dave Conine of USDA RD of Utah for nominating Emily and believing in our mission.
