Wednesday was a sweltering day full of more digging and dirt throwing. But besides all that, our foundation was poured! We finished building the screens to sift and separate large chunks and rocks from fine clay material. Early next week, we plan to begin making adobe bricks.

Rebar towers rise up out of each corner of the home's foundation.

Simple frames propped up and covered with screen help us separate the clean, fine clay used for making adobe bricks and earth plaster from the chunks which we'll later use for slip.

The sign is finished and we got a new, crucial member of our team! Let's give a big, warm welcome to the PORT-a-JOHN!
